Are you looking for a vacation getaway that has everything you could want to do, all surrounded by good weather and relaxing accommodations?
How about taking a trip to the hometown of Walt Disney World? You guessed it! We’re talking about Orlando, Florida. But even though Disney is great (and worth the trip on its own), there’s even more to do in Orlando! We’re here to brief you on popular activities and attractions in the Orlando area, so you can make the most of your visit!
Universal Studios & Islands of Adventure - At this point, Universal Studios and its sister park Islands of Adventure have become almost as ubiquitous to Orlando vacationers as Disney itself, and we can’t recommend it enough! If your idea of the perfect theme park involves getting to “ride the movies”, interact with your favorite superheroes, and even take a trip to Hogwarts, then Universal Studios is the place for you!
Sea World Orlando - Looking for a theme park that will make a big splash? Venture to Sea World Orlando, and experience everything from thrilling rides to killer whales!
Gatorland - They don’t call Gatorland the Gator Capital of the World for no reason! There isn’t a better place to see alligators and crocodiles of all sizes, from babies, to 14-foot monsters. While you’re there, be sure to take a ride on the Screamin’ Gator Zipline!
Kennedy Space Center - While you’re in Orlando, indulge in a little history too! Celebrate the 50th anniversary of the moon landing, see the Space Shuttle Atlantis up close, and more!
Sea Life Aquarium - At the Sea Life Aquarium, you’ll find yourself face-to-face with over 5,000 different creatures – fish, seahorses, jelly fish, a giant pacific octopus, and many more sea creatures! You can even get up close and personal with them in the 360-degree ocean tunnel, an underwater bubble-tank that allows you to feel like you’re at the bottom of the sea!
Boggy Creek Airboat - Explore the Everglades on an airboat in this safe and educational tour. You may even get to see some Florida gators in their natural habitat!
The Crayola Experience - If you and your little ones are artists at heart, then be sure to check out The Crayola Experience, filled with hands-on exhibits, games and play places, and the opportunity to make your own Crayola crayons!
Madame Tussaud’s Orlando - Want to finally have the chance to rub elbows with the rich and famous? Well, you can’t do that here...but you can get pictures with their wax counterparts! You’ll be amazed at how lifelike these figures are!
So now that you have a list of exciting things to do in Orlando, where is the best place to relax and unwind after a long day of theme parks, boats, and alligators?
